After the previous night’s show at the Roundhouse, it’s good to see O’Death back in the kind of tiny, sweaty club they naturally belong. Commencing with Adelita was a perfect statement of intent for a set that never wavered in its unrelenting energy; several more new songs were previewed (mostly sticking to the tried-and-tested gothic bluegrass formula, but no worse for it) and although time constraints forced them to omit Only Daughter, there’s little faulting such a tremendously assured performance.
