AROOJ AFTAB (London Barbican, 17/06/22)

A spectacular display of musicianship from the Pakistani-American prodigy and her phenomenal ensemble. One piece in particular, based on a poem by a departed friend, really got me in the emotions. Nice cameo from Anoushka Shankar too!
