ST VINCENT (London Hammersmith Apollo, 29/06/22)

There’s times where I-I-I-I-I've felt like I don't wanna be a cheerleader for Annie no more (particularly after the numbing soullessness of *that* Brixton show), but this was definitely one of the stronger gigs I've seen her do these last fifteen years. Fun, stylish, with a killer second half (Los Ageless! Marrow! Fast Slow Disco!) - what more could we ask for?
