Q: Are We Not Men? A: We Are Devo! It’s a shame most gigs are rendered into echoey mush by the Apollo’s soundsystem, as all the other elements of the New Wave legends’ 50th anniversary/farewell show were absolutely on-point. Many bands have cribbed from Devo over the last half-century, but no-one sounds quite like them.
