SIGUR ROS (London Royal Festival Hall, 16/06/23)

An unexpectedly restrained orchestral performance from the Icelandic post-rockers but elegant and beautiful nonetheless. Nice of them to feature so many rarities- the first airing of “Se Lest” in 15 years was a real treat, and as much as it’s become a nature documentary cliché over the years, I will never say no to a bit of “Hoppipolla”.
