THE LAST DINNER PARTY (London Roundhouse, 01/02/24)

Their debut album wasn't even (quite) out yet, and they already had bootleg merch outside the venue. Yes, this band was always destined to be big, but let's be fair, their ascendency is much deserved despite their poshness- after years of post-punk dominance, it's nice to have big melodies and a sense of theatre once more. Top tunes, top stagecraft, top performance.
