THE PAINS OF BEING PURE AT HEART (London Betsey Trotwood, 23/11/25)

In 2009, a small New York indie band played the basement of a tiny Farringdon pub with a bunch of British indie pop acts. 17 years later, and The Pains of Being Pure At Heart return to the Betsey once more, with many of the same musicians in support, except now they've been promoted to the ground floor. A nostalgia rush for the c.80 people in attendance, and a long-standing if minor box finally ticked off for me.
