BRIGITTE CALLS ME BABY (St Albans The Horn, 10/06/25)

It's rare that a decent band deigns to play Hertfordshire, so obviously I had to go to check out Chicago's most hotly tipped band-that-sounds-like-The-Killers-fronted-by-Roy-Orbison-and-Morrissey-a-bit at the Horn in St Albans tonight. And I'm glad I did, because once they warmed up they were really rather good, with great energy and Wes Leavens' powerhouse croon impressing throughout. If you like the 80's (looking at you Nation of Language fans), check them out!
